Viewfinder was a college project where we were asked to design a set based on a painting by Edward Hopper and then 3 second location sets that elicited a similar atmosphere to the painting. We worked in conjunction with international MA cinematography students to create 3 short films for each painting. My groups painting was Summer Evening. It was an intense experience that required a lot of hard work. However, I am extremely proud of the results.
